Processing Employment Changes
- Notify project specialist and finance advisor that a change to terms of employment is required, and nature of change (i.e., salary, end date hours, duties)
- Confirm source of funding for any additional costs related to the change
- The request will be reviewed by the finance advisor and project specialist to ensure the Project has sufficient resources to support the employment change, and advise the project when approved or if further discussion is required.
Projects should not inform employees of salary increases before MakeWay approves the request.
- Once approved by finance advisor and project specialist, project to complete and submit the Changes to Terms of Employment Form to People Engagement and Learning (PEL)
- MakeWay PEL will send updates terms of employment contract letter to the employee directly, with a copy to the supervisor.
