Roles and Responsibilities of MakeWay Charitable Society
- Provide a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and volunteers
- Communicate with funders and share relevant information with Project Directors
- Apply for relevant government programs on behalf of the Shared Platform
- Provide People & Culture support to projects, including advising projects on COVID-19 government programs and how to access them
- Communicate regularly with Project Directors to share relevant information and support project decision-making
Roles and Responsibilities of Project Directors
- Understand what policies and benefit coverages you have for each of your employees
- Decide when it is safe to return to offices, workplaces and programming locations based on jurisdictional guidance
- Complete a satisfactory safety plan before returning to a place of work/delivering in-person programming. The plan must be submitted to your Project Specialist for review three days in advance of in-person activities.
- Adjust your programming as needed and communicate any changes to your Project Specialist
Roles and Responsibilities of Employees and Contractors
- Practice social distancing at work, keeping a distance of at least 2 arms’ length (approximately 2 metres) from others, and practice proper hygiene techniques, including regular handwashing
- Follow Public Health Agency of Canada guidelines for monitoring, self-isolating and isolating, and communicate any changes in your health to your supervisor
