Reporting Gifts to BC POH

  1. Select Designated Reporter form the dropdown menu.
  2. Enter your name, email address, project name, title, and the date.
  3. Enter the date (the date when you are completing the form).
  4. You will be asked if you have anything to report for the preceding calendar month, select Yes.

General Information

5. In the preceding calendar month, did any paid staff within your project who are not already registered lobbyists lobby the federal and/or BC government?

  1. If you select Yes you will be asked to provide the name and email address of the of each individual who needs to be registered.
  2. If you select No or Someone else within my project will provide this information you will be taken to the next part of the form.

Lobbying in Other Jurisdictions

6. Indicate if your project undertook lobbying activities in any jurisdictions outside of the province of BC and Government of Canada in the preceding calendar month.

  1. If you select Yes you will be asked to provide the name of jurisdiction(s) and number of hours spent on lobbying activities in each jurisdiction in the preceding calendar month. See Reporting activity in other jurisdictions.
  2. If you select No or I am not the Designated Reporter of lobbying in other jurisdictions for my project you will be taken to the part of the form.

Gifts to BC Public Office Holders

7. If you are the Designated Gifts Reporter, did your project give or promise any gift or benefit to a BC public office holder in the preceding calendar month? Select Yes.

8. Date the gift or benefit was promised

NOTE: Gifts promised must be reported by the 15th of the following month in which they were promised regardless of the date the date the gift is given. For example: a gift is promised in April and given in July. The promised gift must be reported by May 15 and the gift given must be reported by August 15.

  1. You may report up to three different gifts in the form, if you have more then three gifts you will be taken to a link to an Excel document in which you may enter an unlimited amount of gifts. Please send the completed Excel document to [email protected].

15. You will be taken through the reminder of the form, answer No to all questions if you have nothing else to report and until the form is submitted.
